They sat outside the stadium requesting the government to provide them medicines and save lives and many of them broke down. Hundreds of people, all attenders and relatives of COVID-19 patients from different parts of the State, have been waiting outside the stadium since Saturday night and some from early on Sunday. However on Sunday, the Tamil Nadu government revised the protocol for the supply of Remdesivir which will come into effect from May 18.

For this, AIISH has collaborated with several hospitals to conduct screening which is performed to detect hearing impairment and other developmental disabilities that can affect speech and language development. The screening has been helping in early intervention for those identified with the disorders, as any delay in the identification poses risk and affects successful management of children with hearing loss, according to AIISH.
