Concacaf chief meets QFA President, hails Qatar’s show on Gold Cup debut

Las Vegas, Nevada: Victor Montagliani, President of the Concacaf Confederation received Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), on the sidelines of the final of the 2021 Gold Cup in Las Vegas.

Hosts United States were crowned champions after downing Mexico 1-0 in extra time at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada last Sunday. The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and further develop them. They also discussed mutual interest matters and agreed to promote cooperation further to develop football ties between Qatar and Concacaf member nations.
