In a video that has been doing the rounds on social media, a former Supreme Court judge, Indu Malhotra, can be seen saying Communist governments take over Hindu temples because of the revenue.
She was referring to a decision made by a bench of Chief Justice of India UU Lalit and Justice Indu Malhotra in 2020 on the issue of the administration of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram.

In the video that has emerged on social media, Justice Malhotra can be seen talking to a group of people and saying, “That is what happens with these communist governments. They just want to take over because of the revenue. Their problem is the revenue. All over, they have taken over only Hindu temples. So, Justice Lalit and I said no, we will not allow it.”
