Coldplay’s Chris Martin paid his fan Salvador a visit when he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mexico six years ago. They made a promise to each other that the next time they meet it would be at a Coldplay concert. The promise was finally kept.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin paid his fan Salvador a visit when he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mexico six years ago. They had made a promise to each other that they would meet again at a Coldplay concert. Salvador was connected to a mechanical ventilator when Chris Martin paid him a visit. As promised, six years later they met again and this time at the Coldplay concert. Pictures from their then and now meeting were shared by Dr Daniel Ortiz Morales on Twitter. It was later shared on Good News Movement’s Instagram account.
Dr Morales shared two pictures on Twitter, one from Chris Martin’s first visit to Salvador when he was admitted in a hospital. The other picture features Salvador at a Coldplay concert holding a placard which reads, “You told me that the next time you want to see me in a concert and here I am.”
“Sometimes we do not know the fate of our patients. 6 years ago Salvador was connected to a mechanical ventilator through a tracheostomy. @Coldplay visited the @HGM_OD and they promised each other that the next time they would see each other, it would be at a concert! Fulfilled (sic),” Dr Morales wrote sharing the photos on Twitter.
Of course, the pictures left everyone feeling positive. Twitter users called the boy a fighter and thanked Coldplay’s Chris Martin for lifting his spirits by visiting him several years ago in a hospital. “It's even better when you notice he gained some weight so he's probably a lot healthier now (sic),” a user wrote. “Coldplay is pure positive energy, like ABBA of the 21st century. Glad to see that this happened (sic),” another comment read.
