Coimbatore: 19-year-old woman arrested under POCSO act for sexually assaulting minor

A 19-year-old woman was arrested under the POCSO act for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor boy.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested by police on Saturday under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore district. According to police, the accused used to work in a petrol bunk where she got acquainted with the 17-year-old boy. The accused and victim had been in a relationship for the past one year.
