A CNN panel clashed over whether violent crime was down after Vice President Harris touted newly released FBI statistics finding violent crime declined in 2023.
According to the FBI, violent crime incidents fell by 3% in 2023. Murder and non-negligent manslaughter specifically dropped 11.6% and rapes decreased by 9.4% in the past year.
