The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) has launched a mobile application for passengers using the Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT) in Kilambakkam. The app was launched by CMDA Minister P.K. Sekarbabu in the city on Tuesday (January 21, 2025).

The ‘KCBT’ mobile app is available on both android and iOS systems. It has been designed to simplify travel plans, improve accessibility, and provide personalised assistance to passengers, said an official.
The app would provide various information on the bus services operated by the State Express Transport Corporation (SETC) and other State Transport Corporations, including platform details, destinations, timings, and travel time. It would also display the bus services operated by the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) to various parts of the city from the bus terminus.
It also offers directions to passengers from any location. The mobile app would provide various contact details for any immediate assistance, and passengers can submit grievances, if any, directly through the app.
