CMDA invites tenders for sub-plan proposals for Third Master Plan

The Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) is taking steps to prepare a comprehensive sub-plan for physical infrastructure development as part of the Third Master Plan (2027-46) for the Chennai Metropolitan Area (CMA). It has invited consultancy proposals for strategies addressing solid waste management, power, and telecommunications infrastructure across 1,189 sq.km. A tender was floated last month for consultancy services to develop a gender-inclusive framework for the Third Master Plan, focusing on strategies to promote inclusiveness in the development of the Chennai Metropolitan Area.
