
CM Uddhav Thackeray asks police to keep eye on migrants, BJP lodges complaint

BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar lodged a complaint against Uddhav Thackeray, alleging that the Maharashtra chief minister’s remark against migrants “created a rift between communities”.
Maharashtra Chief minister Uddhav Thackeray order asking police officials to keep a tab on migrants coming to Mumbai has sparked a controversy, with the BJP lodging a complaint against the CM.
BJP MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar filed a complaint at the Samta Nagar police station on Tuesday, demanding action against Uddhav Thackeray under Section 156 (A) of the IPC for “trying to create hatred between communities and disrupting communal harmony and peace in public life”.
