CM Jagan launches YSR Yantra Seva Scheme in Guntur, flags off state level distribution of tractors

Chief Minister YS Jagan Reddy flagged off the state-level mega distribution of tractors and combine harvesters under YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam in Guntur. A total of 3,800 tractors along with 1,140 other farm machinery been distributed at Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) level - Custom Hiring Centers (CHCs).
Another 320 combine harvesters will be distributed to 320 cluster level CHCs. Apart from this farm equipment distribution, the government has deposited Rs 175.61 crore of subsidy amount to the accounts of 5,260 famer groups through DBT.
Reaffirming the commitment made for the welfare of farmers, the government of Andhra Pradesh aims to establish a total of 10,750 YSR Yantra Seva Kendras (CHCs).
Speaking post the launch, CM said “With 10,750 Rythu Bharosa Kendras conceptualized to support farmers, from sowing of seeds to selling the crop, now these CHCs will further boost ensuring farmers receive more yields with less investment.’’
YSR Yantra Seva Pathakam initiative was taken up to overcome the shortage of farming machinery to farmers and to provide them with the much-needed support in renting machinery at affordable prices which will help reduce the input cost.
These farm-related machinery will be available at respective village RBK level CHCs.
So far, the government has distributed farm equipment worth Rs. 691 crore to 6,781 RBK level and 391 cluster level custom hiring centers across the state.
