Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that a woman can also be a chief ministerial candidate for next year's Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.

Ahead of next year's Uttar Pradesh Assembly election, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has said that a woman can also be a chief ministerial candidate.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is in-charge of Congress's UP unit, on Tuesday announced 40 per cent party tickets to women in the assembly election likely to be held in the spring next year.
