Claims of revoking Shakib Al Hasan’s NOC to play in IPL 2021 retracted by BCB

Indian Premier League: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have taken a U-turn on their stance of revoking Shakib Al Hasan’s NOC to play in IPL 2021.
A few days after Bangladesh Cricket Board’s cricket operations chairman Akram Khan said that they will reconsider the NOC given to Shakib Al Hasan to play in the IPL, the board has confirmed that there will be no such action. "NOC will remain as it is and he can go and take part in IPL,” BCB director Ismail Haider said, as quoted by Cricbuzz. Shakib will join the KKR camp later this month, with the IPL starting on April 9, but his NOC only allows him to play in the IPL till May 18 after which the 34-year-old is expected to return to national duty. Bangladesh have a three-match ODI series scheduled against Sri Lanka, starting May 20, following the red-ball leg.More Related News
