The Kolkata Police removed a civic volunteer after a video went viral showing him kicking and pressing his foot on a suspected snatcher.

The Kolkata Police on Monday removed a civic volunteer working with the police after he was seen kicking and pressing his foot on a suspected snatcher in a viral video.

The incident took place on Sunday in Kolkata's Rabindra Sadan area. Tanmoy Biswas, a civic volunteer, nabbed a pickpocket while he was allegedly trying to snatch the purse of a woman.
