Chup box office collection Day 7: Sunny Deol, Dulquer Salmaan's film earns Rs 11 crore

Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan's Chup is doing considerably well at the box office. The film has finally managed to cross the Rs 10-crore mark.

Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol's film, Chup, has finally managed to cross the Rs 10-crore mark at the box office. The film witnessed a decent opening on September 23 along with positive reviews. Chup, directed by R Balki, depicts the pain of an artist who suffers from bad criticism and negative reviews. On Day 7, September 29, Chup collected around Rs 11 crore. It will now be affected by Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha which releases in the theatres today.

R Balki’s Chup is doing well at the box office. The film opened to great reviews from the critics and audience alike. As per early trade estimates, the Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Deol film collected Rs 0.60 crore at the box office on Day 7, September 29. Hence, the total collection would now stand at Rs 11.04 crore. Meanwhile, Chup had an overall 9.74 per cent Hindi occupancy on Thursday.

Headlining the power-packed cast of Chup are Dulquer Salmaan, Sunny Deol, Shreya Dhanwanthary, who made a mark for herself with Scam: 1992, and Pooja Bhatt, who recently made a massive comeback with Bombay Begums. Chup is written and directed by R. Balki. Chup is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2022. Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios) presents the film and all India distribution is by Pen Marudhar. Cinematographer Vishal Sinha and music directors Amit Trivedi, Sneha Khanvilkar and Aman Pant are part of the crew. Pranab Kapadia and Anirudh Sharma are co-producers of the film.
