Megastar Chiranjeevi never misses an opportunity to appreciate good cinema, irrespective of the language. Recently, he watched Adivi Sesh's Major and was thoroughly impressed by it. He met Sesh and the team of Major and spoke to them for hours. Chiranjeevi honoured the team with gifts and also hosted lunch for them. Adivi Sesh was overwhelmed and called it an honour to be recognised by a star of his stature.
Adivi Sesh's Major was released in theatres on June 3 and is running successfully in theatres. The film clashed at the box office with Kamal Haasan's Vikram and Akshay Kumar's Samrat Prithviraj.
Megastar Chiranjeevi recently watched Major and was bowled over by it. He honoured the team and showered praise on them. Taking to Twitter, the Acharya actor wrote, "#Major is not a film. Major is a biographical action drama directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and written by Adivi Sesh. The film features Adivi Sesh in the titular role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, on whom the film is based on. Sandeep saved a lot of lives during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulpala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi and Murali Sharma were seen in supporting roles. Major was released in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
