Beijing plans to fully vaccinate 40 percent of the country’s nearly 1.4 billion people by the end of this month.
China has announced that more than one billion doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the country, as the world’s most populous nation accelerated its immunisation programme. The announcement by the National Health Commission (NHC) comes after the number of shots administered globally surpassed 2.5 billion on Friday, according to an AFP count from official sources. The NHC did not say how many people had been vaccinated. As elsewhere, most of the vaccines in China are given in two doses.More Related News
