Child trafficking ring: Mumbai court grants pre-arrest bail to doctor

A 47-year-old doctor was granted pre-arrest bail by a Mumbai court on Wednesday in connection to a child-trafficking ring in the city.

A Mumbai Sessions Court on Wednesday granted pre-arrest bail to a 47-year-old doctor accused of being involved in a child-trafficking ring in the city. The doctor owns a hospital called Dattatrey Nursing Home, which has been designated as a Covid Hospital. The BMC has acquired 20 of the hospital's 25 beds for Covid-19 patients. The nursing home is jointly owned by his wife and him.
