A friend of the family who has organized the fundraiser has identified the victim as Dante Caranci.

Police had previously said they were called to Murray Road and Longwoods around 4 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses reported seeing a school bus stopped on the side of the road nearby.

The online fundraiser has brought in more than $90,000 so far.

London police have not provided any further details.
