Chiefs trading for Titans’ DeAndre Hopkins in NFL blockbuster
NY Post
Patrick Mahomes has a new No. 1 receiver.
The Chiefs are trading for Titans’ star DeAndre Hopkins, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Kansas City will send back a conditional fourth-round pick to Tennessee.
Despite a 6-0 start, the Chiefs offense has struggled for much of the season.
Hopkins will provide a much-needed boost to the team as it has lost its two top receivers – Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown — for the season.
Veteran receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster also aggravated a hamstring injury in the team’s 28-18 road win over the 49ers on Sunday.
The first day of the rest of Daniel Jones’ dwindling time with the Giants arrived Wednesday, with Jones in the building, in the meetings, on the practice field (although not doing very much) and not at all part of the game plan for the next game, relegated to a non-participant role for the remainder of the season.
