Jagan to hold discussions with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is arriving on a short visit to the city on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister will land at VisakhapatnamAirport at 11.05 a.m. and will have a brief interaction with local leaders at the airport. He will leave for Pema Wellness Resort at Rushikonda by road. He will have an hour-long interaction with Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who came on a visit to the city on Sunday.
Mr. Jagan will depart from the resort at 12.50 p.m. and proceed to the airport. He would take off from Visakhapatnam airport at 1.25 p.m.
Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner Ch. Srikanth has reviewed the arrangements made for the Chief Minister’s visit. He reviewed the security arrangements at the airport along with Joint Collector K.S. Viswanathan and the airport officials on Monday
Later, the Police Commissioner went to the wellness resort at Rushikonda and discussed with the resort management on the security aspects for the CM’s visit. Officials from the Revenue, Fire and Police Departments participated.
There will be restrictions on the movement of vehicles in various routes in the city between 10.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
There would be restrictions on the highway road between Airport Junction and Rushikonda via Thatichetlapalem, Sampath Vinayagar temple, Siripuram, CR Reddy Circle, AU in gate, out gate, China Waltair and Park Hotel junction and the stretch between Circuit House, Seven Hills hospital, Gollalapalem, Ambedkar Circle, Allipuram and Prema Samajam Road. The Traffic Police have appealed to motorists to use alternative roads in view of the movement of VIPs on these roads on Tuesday.
