Chennai: Woman pricks molester on bus with safety pin, records video to confront him

A woman, who was travelling from Chennai to Vellore on a bus, confronted a molester with a safety pin who allegedly tried to touch her inappropriately. The woman recorded the incident and informed the police to get the man arrested.
A 28-year-old woman, travelling in a government bus in Tamil Nadu's Chennai, confronted a passenger who allegedly harassed her.
The woman, who also recorded the entire act, alleged that the man slid his hands through the seat and inappropriately touched her.
The incident happened when the woman and her mother were travelling from Chennai to Vellore in a government bus on Friday.
The man has been identified as Raghavan (40), a resident of Krishnagiri.
After the passengers boarded the bus from Koyembedu bus stand in Chennai, the man allegedly started harassing her.
Initially, the woman thought that he touched her by mistake, but after some time, he slid his hands and tried to touch her inappropriately and acted like he slept.
The woman then took out a safety pin, pricked his hand and also recorded the entire incident to confront the miscreant.
