Chennai resident claims to find dead lizard inside milk packet, Aavin denies claims

A Chennai resident took to Twitter and claimed that a person in his flat had found a dead lizard inside a packet of milk supplied by Aavin. However, Aavin denied the allegation and said there was no possibility of such a big foreign objecting entering the sealed packet.
A resident of Chennai’s Pallikaranai took to social media and claimed that a person in his apartment complex had found a lizard inside a packet of milk supplied by Aavin, the state government milk production cooperative. However, Aavin officials denied the allegations and said there was no possibility of such a big foreign object entering a sealed cover.
Posting a picture and a video of the milk packet and the dead lizard, the consumer said he had taken the packet back to the milk shop and also raised concerns about if the entire batch of milk was contaminated.

The lizard was found in the green magic packet of Aavin's pasteurised milk. The packet, which is worth Rs 22, is a half-litre packet dated September 28. After the incident came to light, the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Milk Producers Federation (TNCMPF) denied the possibility of such a big foreign object entering the sealed cover.
A few days earlier, in Madurai, a fly was found in the Green magic packet of Aavin milk. The resident had captured a video of the fly inside the sealed packet and had taken it back to the shop that supplied the milk. Officials said that an investigation would be conducted.
