Chennai man sets woman on fire, kills self; incident caught on camera

A 48-year-old man allegedly killed a woman by setting her on fire and also ended his life in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera.

A 48-year-old man allegedly killed a woman by setting her on fire and also ended his life in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. 46-year-old Shanti, a sweeper, was sleeping near the bus stand in Chennai's Koyambedu area when Muthu poured petrol on her and set her on fire. He then went on to pour the petrol over him and set himself ablaze. The entire incident was caught on CCTV camera. Both Shanti and Muthu were immediately rushed to a hospital. However, they succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.
