Chennai, Coimbatore, 15 other districts in Tamil Nadu see surge in Covid cases

Covid-19 cases have risen in Tamil Nadu in recent days, with Chennai and Coimbatore reporting more than 200 cases per day.

The Covid-19 curve in Tamil Nadu is rising again after months of decline, with Coimbatore and Chennai reporting over 200 cases in the last few days. Chennai witnessed the emergence of two major Covid-19 clusters in the span of about a fortnight, recording over 40 infections and the death of a woman with comorbidity.
