'Cheers' cast: Where are they now?
Fox News
"Cheers" first premiered 40 years ago on Friday. The show made its cast members household names, even spawning a spin-off show, "Frasier" with Kelsey Grammer, and a reboot is in the works.
"I hope and assume that every good comedy writer, no matter the age, has a moment where they discover how great "Cheers" is," mega fan Amy Poehler told GQ in 2012. "And I would encourage any young person getting into comedy to sit down and watch it." Lori Bashian is an entertainment production assistant for Fox News Digital.
Here is what the cast has been up to since starring in the iconic show.
