Three people, one girl student and two men, have been arrested in connection with the Chandigarh University video case. The lawyer who appeared for the accused accepted that video of another girl student was also shot.
The revelation follows just a day after the university in a statement claimed that there was only one 'leaked' clip and that it was a personal video that the accused sent to her boyfriend in Shimla.
Protests erupted at Chandigarh University campus over allegations that the accused had recorded several objectionable videos of women students in the common washroom. On Monday, the three accused arrested in the case were sent to police remand for a week.
Ritu Ranot, manager of Chandigarh University Girls Hostel, filed a complaint after some girls approached the authorities about the alleged videos. In the FIR, the hostel manager claimed that the accused had confessed to making objectionable videos of other students.
The hostel manager, in a written complaint to the police on September 17, said that some students had accused the girl of making videos.
