The UT administration has decided to close the famous Rock Garden and the newly opened Bird Park amid a sharp rise of Covid cases in the city.
The UT administration has decided to shut down the famous Rock Garden and the recently opened Bird Park amid a sharp rise in the Covid-19 cases in the city.
In a meeting presided over by UT Administrator Banwarilal Purohit, the decision was soon announced to control the rising number of cases and to control the mass gathering of people at public places. UT Adviser Dharam Pal issued an order stating, ‘’both Rock Garden and Bird Park, which attract a large number of people, not only from the region but also from other states, will remain closed from January 4 until further orders.’’
