Taking into account the steady decline in Covid-19 cases, the Chandigarh administration has decided to lift the restrictions. Check what's allowed and what's not.
The Chandigarh administration has decided to lift the Covid-19 restrictions in the city as the coronavirus infections have started to decline. The administration has lifted the night curfew order and has allowed schools for all classes and coaching institutes to re-open with full capacity in hybrid mode from February 14.
"Chandigarh Bird Park and Rock Garden to reopen from Feb 12,"the administration said in its order.

The state Disaster Management Authority, UT, Chandigarh, in its latest official release stated that the restrictions on movement of individuals from 12:30 am to 5 am for all the non-essential activities are removed.
The order comes at a time when the city logged 123 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours, up from 85 a day ago.
