Chandigarh International Airport to be named after Bhagat Singh

The Haryana and Punjab governments have agreed to name the Chandigarh International Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The governments of Punjab and Haryana on Saturday took a decision to name the Chandigarh International Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The decision was taken during a meeting held between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala.
Bhagwant Mann took to Twitter and wrote in Hindi, "Punjab and Haryana agreed to name Chandigarh's International Airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh ji. Had a meeting with Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on this issue today."

After the implementation, the airport will be known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh Airport.
