Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o has backed his former club Chelsea to surprise favourites Manchester City in the upcoming UEFA Champions League final on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's men advanced to the final after beating Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals, while Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea dumped all-time greats Real Madrid. It is the second all-English Champions League final in three years, confirming the long-standing fears of debt-ridden Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona that the unmatched global commercial success of the Premier League will eventually be replicated on the field. Chelsea finished their Premier League campaign with a defeat on Sunday afternoon and have flown out to Portugal this afternoon ahead of putting the finishing touches to their preparations. Eto'o, who played for Chelsea in the 2013-14 season, was delighted to see his former club reaching their first Champions League final since 2012.More Related News
