The Disciple won accolades at both, the Venice Film Festival and the 45th Toronto International Film Festival. It stars actor-musician Aditya Modak in the lead role. On Tuesday (March 30), Netflix unveiled the trailer of The Disciple. It follows the life of musician Sharad Nerulkar, essayed by Aditya Modak. He has devoted his life to the study of Indian classical music and follows every instruction of his guru and father. However, through the course of time, he begins to question whether he will ever be able to master the art of sound and achieve excellence. Set in Mumbai, The Disciple is a journey of devotion in a city that never stands still.
