Centre To Play Key Role In Shaping 6G Networks Worldwide: Telecom Secretary

Inaugurating a centre of excellence on 6G at IIT-M Research Park, Chennai, Mr Mittal said this initiative is aligned with the 'Bharat 6G Vision' document released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March last year.

Centre will play a crucial role in shaping standards and infrastructure for 6G networks worldwide, Dr Neeraj Mittal, Secretary (Telecom), has said.

PM Modi has envisaged India to be a front-line contributor in the design, development and deployment of 6G technology by 2030.
