Centre announces reduction of excise duty on petrol by Rs 5, diesel by Rs 10

The excise duty has been reduced by Rs 5 on petrol and Rs 10 on diesel, effective from Thursday.

On the eve of Diwali, the Government of India announced a reduction in the excise duty levied on petrol and diesel.
