CDC warns Hispanic-style fresh, soft cheeses linked to listeria outbreak

Federal health officials are investigating a recent listeria outbreak after multiple people were sicked in four states.
Working in partnership with local officials and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the CDC said it was collecting different types of data to investigate the outbreak. It noted that while illnesses started last October, the number of those infected with listeria monocytogenes infections is likely higher than reported and may not be linked to the states in which cases were confirmed.More Related News
