CDC investigating mild heart inflammation in small amount of vaccinated teens, young adults

The CDC says it is investigating a small number of reports of young COVID-19 vaccine recipients experiencing “mild” heart inflammation.
The government health agency said it has received “relatively few” reports of predominantly male adolescents and young adults developing myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle. The condition can be caused by a number of viruses, and often goes away without complications, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices said.More Related News
