CBSE Term 1 board exam 2022 score weightage reduced to 30%, weightage for Term 2 score at 70%

The CBSE Term 1 board exam 2022 score weightage has been reduced to 30%, while the weightage for the CBSE Term 2 board exam score stands at 70%.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to reduce the weightage of the CBSE Term 1 board exam 2022 owing to the difficult conditions existing while the exams were in progress in November-December 2021 and the problems faced by students and affiliated schools. CBSE has thus decided to keep the Term 1 board exam weightage at 30% and the Term 2 board exam weightage at 70%.
CBSE has informed the CBSE Class 10 Term 1 board exam result in a collective manner to schools for the theory exams based on MCQs. The scores of individual students will not be available on the CBSE website. The internal assessment weightage as per the schools will remain unchanged.
Here's what the CBSE notification states:
The Term-l examinations were conducted as per schedule, but due to the conditions existing at the time, keeeping in mind the problems faced by students and affiliated schools, CBSE has decided to reduce the weightage of the Term-I examinations.
Following important information is also being communicated to all concerned for needful action:
(1) The weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 examinations will be 30 and 70 percent respectively. The Board is informing the schools only about the theory performance of their students of Class X in a collective manner. Hence, the performance of individual student will not be available on the website.
(2) The weightage of the Internal Assesments conducted by the schools will remain the same and will not be altered in no way whatsoever. In the subjects where the assessment was not done by the schools, performance based on the scanning of OMR Sheets is being communicated to the schools.
