CBSE invites students to participate in '100 Days Reading Campaign'

CBSE Board is inviting students to participate in the '100 Days Reading Campaign' which will be inaugurated by the Education Minister of India on January 1, 2022.
CBSE Board on Friday released a notice for students to participate in the '100 Days Reading Campaign' that will be launched by the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, on January 1, 2022. "The campaign focuses on students studying in Balvatika to Class VIII. Detailed guidelines for the campaign have been meticulously prepared so that children may participate in this campaign with the help of their teachers, parents, peers, siblings, or other acquaintances," said the notice.
CBSE Reading Mission, another initiative that was launched in September this year to increase the interest in reading among students. It also "focussed on building a strong culture of reading in schools." The CBSE Reading Challenge series was launched to assess critical thinking skills among the students on the basis of case-based questions.
