CBSE Board Exam 2022: Students and parents demand for exams to be held at home centres

Students appearing for CBSE board examinations and their parents are demanding that the exams be conducted at home centres.
The rising cases of corona in Delhi NCR have once again become a cause of concern for parents. While parents had got some relief with the resuming of Delhi schools completely in physical mode, it has now turned into a cause of concern since schools have started reporting Covid-19 cases. The recent reports of Covid-19 coming from schools have now raised challenges for both the government and the administration.
A resident of Preet Vihar, Dhanya Gupta, will be appearing for her Class 10 board exams this year. Her father, Vineet Gupta, says that all protocols concerning Covid-19 safety are being followed in his daughter's school.
However, the way the cases of corona are coming up in different schools, he is concerned if the same protocols will be followed in the school that his daughter will be sitting in for board exams.
In such a situation, he wants his daughter's exam to be held at the home center i.e., in the same school that his daughter attends.
Like Dhanya Gupta, Manvi Rastogi also has her Class 10 board exam this year.
Maanvi wants her exam to be held in her home center as she believes that there is a soft corner with teachers in one’s own school and safety is given the priority.
She adds that the sanitisation arrangements similar to the ones in her schools might not be present in other schools, hence her board exam should be held at her home centre.
