CBI questioned Anil Deshmukh’s personal assistants and Sachin Vaze’s drivers in connection with the corruption charges levelled against the former Maharashtra home minister by Param Bir Singh.
The Central Bureau of Inverstigation (CBI) on Sunday questioned two personal assistants (PA) of former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh regarding the corruption charges levelled against him by former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh. In a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minster Uddhav Thackeray, former Mumbai Commissioner of Police Param Bir Singh had alleged that Anil Deshmukh called Ambani bomb scare case accused Sachin Vaze and other Mumbai Police officers to his residence and instructed them to extort Rs 100 crore per month through illegal means. A team of CBI officers had arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday after registering a preliminary inquiry against Anil Deshmukh at the direction of the Bombay High Court.More Related News
