The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday questioned Mumbai Police SS (social service) Branch ACP Sanjay Patil in connection with the allegations that former police commissioner Param Bir Singh levelled against Anil Deshmukh in an explosive letter. According to top sources from CBI, questioning is still going on at a makeshift CBI office in Mumbai. A special team of CBI officials from Delhi are in Mumbai investigating the case. On Sunday, CBI questioned two close associates of former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh. The CBI also questioned two drivers of Sachin Vaze regarding the case.
