Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said the CBI officers searched my clothes and even my children's clothes during 14-hour raid but found nothing.
Days after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducted a raid on his house in connection with the liquor policy, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said the CBI officers searched my clothes and even my children's clothes during the 14-hour raid but found nothing.
He said the CBI FIR against him was “completely fake” and alleged that the BJP-ruled Centre is acting like a serial killer to eliminate state governments. He was speaking during the special session of the Delhi Assembly.
“Conduct 1,000 more raids but you will not find anything on me. I’ve worked towards moving the education of Delhi forward. That’s the only thing I am guilty of. They aren’t able to digest the world praising what we’ve done,” he said.
“The CBI officers searched my clothes and even my children's clothes during the 14-hour raid but found nothing. They even searched every corner of my house; bedroom, kitchen, cupboard, etc. I haven’t done a penny of corruption,” he said during the assembly.
Further hitting out at the Centre, Sisodia said, “Good schools and hospitals can be constructed in much smaller budget than the amount of money you are using to topple the Opposition’s governments and the money you are using to poach MLAs.”
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Friday said the CBI officers searched my clothes and even my children's clothes during a 14-hour raid but found nothing.
He further told the assembly that since 2015, the Delhi government has constructed 700 school buildings and has inducted 19,000 teachers since it took over.
