CBI officer gave confidential document to Anil Deshmukh's lawyer in exchange of iPhone 12

The confidential report giving a ‘clean chit’ to former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh was disclosed to his lawyer by an officer of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in exchange for an iPhone 12 Pro as a bribe, according to an FIR (first information report) by the agency. On Thursday, a Delhi court sent former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s lawyer Anand Daga and CBI sub-inspector Abhishek Tiwari to two-day CBI custody in connection with the leak of CBI's internal probe documents.
