CBI gets 7-day custody of 3 accused in Mahant Narendra Giri’s death case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been remanded custody of Anand Giri, Aadya Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari in Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri's death case.
CBI had filed an application before Prayagraj Court on Sunday, seeking custodial remand of the three suspects on the grounds that they have to recover electronic gadgets containing incriminating information leading to the death of Narender Giri. The agency seeks to recover evidences from various places, which the three accused can point out in Prayagraj and Haridwar."For the purpose of investigation of the present case and also to unravel the mystery behind the alleged suicide of late Narendra Giri, custodial interrogation of accused Anand Giri, Adya Prasad Tiwari and Sandeep Tiwari is essentially required," the CBI had mentioned in its application.
