CBI files FIR against 4 former Armymen in 2012 recruitment scam

The CBI will probe the role of the accused in the irregularities in the recruitment of around 54 candidates in Military Engineering Services Jhansi in 2012.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered an FIR against four former army officials in a recruitment scam, which took place in 2012.
The accused, then posted in Jhansi with Military Engineering Services — erstwhile Commander Working Engineer Colonel Arvind Parashar, two erstwhile Deputy Commander Working Engineer Lieutenant Colonel RR Negi and Lieutenant Colonel AK Singh and then Lieutenant Colonel D S Rawat, then a garrison engineer posted at Military Engineering Services in Gwalior have been named as accused in the case.
