The CBI has filed a charge sheet against former Yes Bank managing director and CEO Rana Kapoor, his wife Bindu and promoter of Avantha Group Company Gautam Thapar in connection with an alleged loan scam of over Rs 1,700 crore.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed a chargesheet against Yes Bank’s former chief Rana Kapoor, wife Bindu Kapoor, promoter of Avantha Reality Gautam Thapar and others in connection with an alleged loan scam of over Rs 1,700 crore.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court had granted bail to Bindu Rana Kapoor and her two daughters — Radha and Roshni Kapoor — in a case involving Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited (DHFL).
