
CBI arrests SBI home loan official on bribery charges in Maharashtra's Amravati

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a State Bank of India sales executive in Maharashtra's Amravati district for taking a bribe in exchange for approving a home loan.
An executive of the State Bank of India’s home loan department has been arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation for taking a bribe in exchange for sanctioning a house loan for a person in Maharashtra’s Amravati, officials said.
Along with Amar Khade, who works as a home loan sales executive in SBI’s Home Loan Division, his alleged associate Nikhil (suspected to be working with ICICI Bank) was also arrested by the officials.
