CBI arrests Delhi Police officer, his associate in bribery case

The CBI has arrested a Delhi Police officer and his associate in a bribery case.

A Delhi Police officer was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday for demanding and accepting bribe for not arresting two persons in a criminal case, officials said.

Kuldeep Singh, an assistant sub-inspector posted at Delhi’s Sultanpuri Police Station, and one other person have been placed under arrest.
