Cambridge residents will be able to cast online ballots starting Monday for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) Trustee election. The last day to vote is November 18, 2022.
This comes after Danielle Manton, the city clerk, declared an emergency under section 53 of the Municipal Elections Act late last month, because two of six trustee candidate names were missing from the ballot. All votes cast for WCDSB trustees during the municipal election were voided last month.
Eligible voters will be receiving a new voter letter with instructions on how to vote online. Those who cannot cast a ballot online may qualify for at-home voting.
In a statement, the City of Cambridge identified the following times and locations for those who need in-person help:
The results of the WCDSB trustee election will be released after the last ballot is cast at 8pm on November 18, 2022.
