In her recent interview, Urfi Javed has mentioned that the industry is not ready to accept her. The actress also revealed that a casting director said that she wouldn't get work in TV because of her bad image.
Urfi Javed often hits the headlines for all the wrong reasons. The TV actress, who was seen in Bigg Boss OTT, is frequently trolled for her fashion choices. And recently, Sussanne Khan's sister Farah Khan Ali said Urfi needs to be reprimanded for 'distasteful dressing'. After having a spat with her, Urfi is back in the news again. This time around, Urfi revealed that a casting director told her that she wouldn't get work in TV because of her bad image.
In an interview with Times Of India, Urfi Javed shared the whole conversation that she had with a casting director. "The industry is not ready to accept me at all. They are not ready to accept the change. Recently, I met a casting director who told me, 'Aap ko television mein toh ab kaam nahi milega aap ki image itni gandi horakhi hain' [it is so difficult for you now to get work, especially in television, because your image is so bad]."
This clearly didn't go down well with Urfi, who asked the casting director, "What do you mean by gandi excuse me?" And in response to this, the casting director added, "He told me to go for an adult web series as I won’t get good work." "I straight away told him that I am not going to do intimate scenes as I am not comfortable. I’ve made it very clear. Just because the type of clothes I wear don’t judge me that I will do all those things. Not that I am judging anyone, it’s just that I am not comfortable with," said Urfi.
Meanwhile, after Urfi Javed's video with a security guard went viral on social media, Sussanne Khan's sister, Farah Khan Ali, reacted to Urfi's fashion choices. She took to the comment box of a paparazzo's post and wrote, "Sorry to say but this young girl needs to be reprimanded for distasteful dressing. People are making fun of her and she thinks they like the way she dresses. Wish someone would tell her."
