Michael Sinclair and Sonya Pasqua were charged three years ago in the death of their toddler, Gabriel Sinclair-Pasqua.
On Oct. 5, 2021, Calgary police were called to a home in the 2800 block of 14th Avenue for reports of a boy in medical distress.
First responders administered first aid, but the boy was pronounced dead.
A year later, the parents were arrested and charged.
Extended family members and loved ones of the toddler have attended court hearings in the past, expressing their hope for justice for the boy.
They’ve described him as “a little angel” and “precious.”
